Invisalign Β· Clear Aligners Β· San Diego
Clear aligners are a low-profile way to straighten crowded, gapped, or crooked teeth. We take a digital scan, map out a treatment plan you can see before you start, and walk you through the cost so there are no surprises.
We start with a digital scan and an honest assessment of whether clear aligners are right for your case. You see the proposed plan before any aligners are ordered.
We give you a clear treatment estimate after your consultation. Many PPO plans include an orthodontic benefit β we verify yours first so you know what is covered before you decide.
Aligner treatment involves a lot of small decisions over several months. Our clinical and front-desk team can walk you through all of it in Vietnamese, Spanish, or English.
Open Monday through Saturday, with early Thursday and Friday slots starting at 8 AM. Sundays by appointment β handy for the short check-ins aligner treatment needs.
Scan, plan, aligners, check-ins, and retainers all happen at one address. We also handle your regular cleanings and exams, so your dental care stays in one place.
What clear aligners can treat
Clear aligners work well for many common alignment and bite concerns. At your consult we assess your teeth and tell you honestly whether aligners β or another option β is the better fit.
When teeth overlap or there is not enough room, clear aligners can gradually create space and bring them into line. Straighter teeth are also easier to keep clean.
Aligners can close spaces between teeth, whether it is one noticeable gap in front or smaller spaces spread across your smile.
Many overbite, underbite, and crossbite cases can be improved with clear aligners. We assess your bite at the consult and tell you honestly what aligners can and cannot do for your situation.
If your teeth shifted after braces years ago β often because a retainer was lost β a short course of aligners can frequently bring them back into line.
The aligners are smooth, removable plastic, so there are no brackets or wires to irritate your cheeks. You take them out to eat, so there are no food restrictions.
Finishing treatment includes retainers. Teeth naturally tend to drift, so wearing your retainers as directed is what protects the work you put in.
How it works
We examine your teeth and bite, talk through what you want to change, and take a digital scan. We are honest if clear aligners are not the best fit β some cases are better served by braces or a specialist referral.
You get a treatment plan mapped out from the scan. Once you approve it, you wear a series of custom aligners, switching to the next set as your teeth move. You wear each set about 20 to 22 hours a day, removing them only to eat and brush.
You come in for brief check-ins so we can confirm everything is tracking. When your teeth reach their final position, we fit you with retainers to hold the result β wearing them as directed keeps your teeth from drifting back.
