Mission Valley is one of the most traffic-dense commercial corridors in San Diego, with thousands of office workers, retail employees, and residents living in the high-density apartment complexes lining Mission Center Road and Friars Road. Getting a dental appointment around a lunch hour or between work blocks is a real constraint for Mission Valley patients, and it is one we can accommodate — our office on University Ave is about a 12-minute drive east through City Heights, and we hold morning and Saturday slots that work for a half-day away from the office. Most Mission Valley patients carry PPO plans through their employers (Cigna, Aetna, MetLife, Delta Dental) and we are in-network or can submit out-of-network claims with upfront cost estimates. There is no valet pricing here — you know what the co-pay looks like before we start.
Starting point: Mission Center Rd & Friars Rd
From Mission Center Rd & Friars Rd, take Mission Center Rd south to El Cajon Blvd (via I-8 east to the 54th Street or Fairmount Ave exit), then head east to University Ave. Alternatively, take I-8 east to the 54th Street exit, head north to University Ave, then turn west. Our office is on the south side of University Ave between 52nd and 54th Streets, next to Vien Dong Supermarket.
MTS Route 7 runs along University Ave from Mission Valley area connections. The Blue Line Trolley stops at Fashion Valley and Mission Valley — from there, a rideshare or bus transfer east on University Ave reaches our office. Driving is typically fastest from Mission Valley.
Our office at 5296 University Ave (Suite I) has free street parking along University Ave and 53rd Street, plus the shared lot for Vien Dong Supermarket next door. Wheelchair-accessible entry and ground-floor treatment rooms.
