What we fix
Composite bonding is versatile — it handles a range of cosmetic and minor functional repairs in a single appointment.
A chip from a fall, a bite on something hard, or an old injury can be rebuilt with composite resin that blends with the surrounding enamel. Most chips are repaired in under an hour.
Bonding can close or reduce a small diastema (gap between teeth) by widening the adjacent teeth with composite. It is reversible and far less costly than braces or aligners for cosmetic gap closure only.
Fluorosis spots, white spots from early decay, or intrinsic stains that whitening cannot reach can often be masked with a thin layer of tooth-colored composite.
Teeth that are slightly different lengths or have rough edges can be smoothed and reshaped with bonding — or built up where needed — for a more even appearance.
When gum recession exposes the root, bonding material can cover the sensitive surface and reduce cold or air sensitivity while improving appearance.
Teeth worn down by grinding (bruxism) or acid erosion can be built back up with composite bonding to restore length and protect the underlying structure.
Composite bonding is done entirely chair-side. We apply, shape, and cure the resin in one appointment. You leave with a finished result, not a temporary.
Unlike porcelain veneers that require grinding down the tooth surface, bonding is purely additive in most cases. Your natural tooth structure stays intact.
We select composite shades to match your surrounding teeth and finish the surface so that the repaired area blends naturally in appearance and feel.
Composite bonding typically lasts 5–10 years before it needs touching up or replacing, depending on the location and how it is cared for. We tell you this upfront — it is a trade-off for the cost and reversibility advantages.
Our team can walk through bonding options and care instructions in your preferred language so you fully understand what to expect.
